Schertz United Methodist Church offers diverse and wide-ranging opportunities for adults to enrich, gather, and grow in small-group fellowship. For more information about these or any other adult programs at SUMC, please contact the church office. Some of the adult-oriented small ministry groups include:
Diamond Club – A group for seniors. It meets on the last Monday of each month at noon for a potluck lunch and a program.
Emmaus – Gatherings are held the first Tuesday of each month at 7 pm.
KNOTS – A small group of “crafters” that meet at the church the first, second, and fourth Wednesday of the month at 10 am.
Round Tuits – A group of women who bring projects from home to work on. They meet on Friday at 10 am.
Mesquite Magnolias – A ladies group that meets every Thursday morning in the choir room at 11:00 AM for bible study and fellowship.
United Methodist Men – Meets fourth Wednesday of each month for potluck, a program and fellowship at 7 pm.
United Methodist Women – Meets the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 pm for potluck, a program and fellowship.
Wuest Circle.UMW – Part of United Methodist Women. This gathering is focused on mission projects of the Methodist Church. They meet the third Wednesday of each month at 10 am.
Faith Builders – DVD based curriculum with discussion and optional readings. Meets on Tuesdays at 7:30pm in room 104. Email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
